which software - Direct monitoring

Which recording software programs support Direct Monitoring? I'm trying to use the function on my Tascam 122 to eliminate latency but I have discovered that both programs I have (Acoustica Mixcraft & Cool Edit Pro 2.0) do not handle this? Help!

Not sure what you mean by direct monitoring. If you mean monitoring through the software, then Sonar does this.

To me direct monitoring would refer to the sound card, not the software. In other words, you would route the input signal going into the sound card directly to its output, thus bypassing the software and eliminating latency.
