Which recorder!!!!??????

I'm looking at buying a new recorder, and have decided to go digital. However, I don't know which one I should go for. ADAT's seem quite good, but the onesin my price range (LX-20 + XT-2) don't have any MTC capabilities, which, having a lot of MIDI gear already, is quite important to me. I have also looked at hard disk recorders such as the Fostex D-80 + D-90, but it seems that it may be quite expensive when I eventually need a new hard drive. Any advice would be great cause I'm kinda stuck!!! Cheers

JL Cooper makes a box called the DATASync II which will work with the ADAT (s) so that you can have MTC, MMC, etc.....It works very well actually. You may be able to actually find one used for around $150.

Or course, you could always go the BRC route, but they are over $1k new, and not a whole lot less used.
