which one of these setups(2) should i use

I have a total of six sources i will need to be able to record live, 4 drums and two guitar...should i (1) get a delta 44 and plug my drums into a behringer ub1202 and then run the main outs to two of the delta 44 inputs, and then use the other two inputs for my guitar or (2) get a maya 1010 and skip the mixer, and plug all my inputs into that card...IF anyone has anyother ideas those would also be helpful....thanks

If the Maya 1010 has preamps then I'd go that route. That way you can control individual channels on your drums without having to submix during tracking.

it doesnt i dont think but i forgot to mention that i have a PR8. so i can do the maya thing...But i feel stupid because i just bought that mixer. o well it was cheap and ill probbl use it for something eventually

Anytime you can skip a piece of Behri gear (especially one of their mixers) in you chain, do it and don't look back. My vote's for the Maya. You can always use the mixer for output routing for multiple monitors, headphones etc.
