Hey guys which one do you believe is better, the triton rack or the motif rack. R do you think the triton is to widely used.

The TRITONs are just under used by cats...

It's one of the most (if not the most) powerful synths on the market but only a few are really tapping that ass. It's a sampler and a synth... Anything you wanna do... Some say the sampler end isn't all that but I find it hard to believe since it can do anything any other sampler can do (from my understanding). Maybe just harder cuz of the synth parts.

I personally wouldn't go with the MOTIF cuz I don't want more synth clutter around even though i'm sure it's got some nice sound. TRITON knocks off a 2 for 1 in my opinion but I'd be really concerned with reprogramming it from the second I plug it up cause the majority of the factory sounds have really been used enough. Either way you'll be getting some top notch sound engine.

but what if I already have the mpc as a sampler do yo still think the triton would be the best buy, also I have the mo phatt so tell me what you think I shoild do

These are just my opinions... If you make a bad choice based on shit I say that's your ass...;) <--- Disclaimer...

Well... My main thing is to deal with what you got... It's just kinda time consuming but not as much as learning a new piece. Then add in the hours you spent making that money you're spending... Loosing a lot of time you could spend dropping shit and perfecting your craft.

I personally think you should try some MO PHATT sound programming before you spend another dime (if you haven't)... I know when I need a new sub bass I can tweak out a patch on my PLANETT PHATT in a matter of seconds. I'm pretty sure your PHATT got some better sounds and a few more parameters and efx and all you can work with...

Can't the MO PHATT hold a new sound rom? If you don't have it that'd be the second thing I'd do. Take those sounds and flip em up to. Sound for days on the same outputs and midi line, smaller learning curve, and no extra shit to get in your way...

Then you got the MPC... You got a zip drive and the full memory right? Shit makes things hella nice with those 2 things.

Fully expanded shit is always the best route rom what I've seen.T hat's me though... You might have some money just burning a hole through your pockets. Let ya boy hold a couple bills?

Let me know what ya think...
