Ectually..........I have a DOS system :p (still working)

And three 2k machines (Office, DAW, MIDI PC-link)
And one win98SE (laptop)
And also an Atari STE with EOS?? does that count??:D
WINCE 2.0 (pocket pc)

So the list is far from complete.
What about win3.11, OS2, Unix, MSX, NT??:D

I've got windows 98 down to a bloody science.

I'll never leave...well until I find an OS that is smaller faster more stable and simpler. I hate how each new OS gets bigger and bigger and requires more and more RAM.

I would go with BEOS if I had the drive...win 98se is easy now....six years later.

With more ram, and big OS... you get more user power... much much more control...

Win2k is faster and more stable than Win98 ever was IMO. Yeah it requires a little more memory...256 is plenty for it though.

Damn Right Jake !!! Got a valid point !!! ;)

I liked windows NT a lot.
Quick install (30 mins) and little space on your HD (200 Mb).
But, no PNP and no USB.............

XP, but I want to get away from this computer-thing as fast as budget allows. I'm thinking Radar.

(yes, I know that's a computer too, but no need for tricks, fixes, patches, whatever...)

LOL! I'm the same way about OS 9.1. Sure it has it's issues, but they're known issues.

BTW what's up with lumping us Mac users in with the Linux geeks? I hate that command line shit. That's why I never got into Windows.:p

XP PRO, (cause I had a credit card to burn)

It's only been just over a month I think, and so far not one glitch. I used to run 98 SE for so long, yea it was a science, but, a flaky science. I did note how XP uses more RAM for sure. I like how I can't turn off stuff in CTRL ALT DELETE anymore and screw everything up. I think having used 98SE long enough, it was time to step up and maybe learn something new.

I am extremely pleased with this new OS. I have installed all kinds of shit, and like I said, no problems whatsoever thus far...well OK, once I magically enabled filter keys, and clicked the wrong answer and lost control of my keyboard. One of those funky new options in XP...my little booklet had no info on it, so I just restarted, and for now stay away from filter keys ;).

I used to have all kinds of Ataris :D. Gotta love em.

Windows XP Home
Windows 2000 Pro
Red Hat Linux
Mac OS X

Glad to see some people still holding onto the legacy Win 98 and Mac OS 9. I do miss those sometimes......
