I know what you mean Q, but TexRoadkill is right that I'd be able to afford better equipment. I dunno what I plan on doing yet, but I'd definitely like to intern. I'll stay in touch. Thanks Q.

But there is Mr. Q who had a bad one (like none of the other companies make bad ones) who seems to know everything about everything. I have read his posts for some time now. Of course you don't want to disagree with him or he'll let you know just how stupid you are.

Peace

Yo' boardo! If myself AND MANY,MANY MANY,MANY,MANY MANNNNNYYYYYY others have agreed on the overall perf of the Beh Mixer, what does that indicate to you!!?? If a majority states the product is inferior thru their own test and relays that info to others, what would YOU do with that imnfo!!??
And is far as me trying to make some-1 look stoo-pid, you are so wrong!!! That's not me !! I will never, ever talk down to any man
women or child .So check yourself on that point!! I ONLY TALK
ABOUT the inadequecies of Behringer Mixers and never the inidividual owner!
Unless some how I made you LOOK STOO-PID! If i did, I apologize!!

Behringer Mixers still SUCK!!!

Your right, I'm wrong. That's why I've been on this bbs for over a year and still haven't posted over 100 yet.

I think I'll just keep reading posts on things I want to know about and just not reply to any.

Yeah, I think that will work. I'm outta here.

Peace

Maybe I am just not up to speed but I don't recall a Soundcraft Topaz. A Soundtracs Topaz, though, is an amazing piece of equipment and high on my wish list. They are getting fewer and fewer though since they were discontinued.

Pete

so come on yall.

list me some mixers new or used no more than $1500

C9 you haven't really mentioned why you need such a big mixer. Are you going to be using it for the mixdown or just for tracking a full band at once? Are you going to use it live? Do you have a lot of external processors?

mixdowns, tracking and maybe some live stuff... i need a minimum of 24inputs though 24 i don't think is really enough... i need a 32... but if i can get a nice 24ch i'll grab a patch bay or something...

i need a lot of inputs for my equipment... as for as external processors... nope, Nuendo and SX...and soon a uad-1 for powered pluggins..

i think i'ma get a used tascam m3500 32x8 then buy the meter bridge for it... but i'm still looking...

How are you going to get all those inputs in and out of the computer? Do you have 24 channels of DAC?

I think you might be pushing it with that budget and wanting so many channels. Those Topaz Project 8 boards look pretty nice but I've never used one. The Soundcraft Ghost is one of the best budget mixers you can get for that many channels but you'd be looking at about $5k used.

well the equipmet has a lot of outs...

Mpc2000xl
triton
motif
proteus 2500
tape,cd,md,vcr,dvd
then mics.. i need a 32ch mixer...

i'll have 2 delta 1010 in this computer...and i might end up getting 2inch tape an dor some adats...

i'm trying to get something along the lines of a soundcraft lx7, Soundtracs Topaz, Tascam m3500... something on those lines.. real nice mixers with clean pres and good features for around 1500 and under...
