which mixer

I am looking to buy a new mixer and I have narrowed it down to two. The behringer 802 or the samson 624, the samson is double the money and has a few more features, but not sure which one to get. will mostly be recording electronic drum kit with some cd music and another musician from time to time. Looking for the best sound quality and reliability out of the two.

behringers are often unreliable and low quality, never been near a samson, but hey im gonna say that before a behringer

I would strongly suggest spending a little more money and getting this.

The Behringer Xenyx series look good but are new to the market and the jury's still out on long-term reliability among other things.

The Yamaha MG10 is a proven workhorse with good preamps that will serve you well for years to come. It's also slightly larger than either the Behringer or the Samson and that might come in handy if you want/need to add anything to your current studio setup.
