You guys are giving me way too much things to understand and to think about!
@Ozraves : What do you mean by ''tends to come across with certain male voices''?
PS : What you guys would do, with + or - $199 US for a male Hip-Hop voice? And what would you do with + o - $299 US for the same male voice? Lots of questions, no?
I'd have to disagree with you on the Feilo v67. I'm not a big fan of it. I do agree with you on the 797 Audio C1, though. That would be a really good choice given his budget range.
The two first microphones are way to much for my low budjet thing!
I'm starting my home studio, so I'm going slow on the money. I'm searching for an approx. $199 US (+ or -) mic. That's why I asked what would you guys, experts, would do with $199 US and with $299 US (If I choose to raise my budjet). Your choices for a $199 mic, and for a $299 ? It would help me

That's ok if you disagree with me... hell, if everyone agreed about every mic the music world might be a bit boring. The Fello V67G and Shure SM57 are both within his budget so put them in the pile for HIM to consider... the 797 Audio C1 is a bright sounding mic... but it's a pretty good cheap budget mic too.
at 199.00 or so The C1 or the V67..at 299.00 AT 4040 or Shure KSM27..Also the AT4033 is at this price{299.00} which can do a very nice job also...So many choices! If it were me I'd have my ears ready to be critical and listen to all these mics..Good luck

I mean that some male voices need a nice bump around 10 or 12 kHz to come across well. These tend to be mid range to low male voices. High male voices don't need it usually. Rather, this high end bump tends to make these voices grating and brittle.
SounB, as you get more people to reply to your question you will notice how many different opinions there are... we don't all agree... and no one is right, and no one is wrong... that's why it's so important that you audition the mic's for yourself and make up your own mind which mic's you like the most.
