which mic?

ok, i have about 150 dollars to spend on a mic for vocals. I do screaming and clean, so I need something that will do well with both for that price. So, if anybody knows one that will handle both well, please tell me.

look at the electro voice /nd series,
get the one that most fits your budget

c1's don't really like screamers imo.

would this mic do it? the Audio Technica AT2020 Vocal Condenser Microphone will it handle the stuff i need? i just noticed that it seemed good and was within my price range. i need all the feedback that i can get.

most condensers, especially cheep ones (usually very bright), won't like screamers.

A good dynamic mic might often work better than a cheaper LDC on a screamer. I have however used a C1 on screamers and have been satisfied with the results.
I know that a C1 works well with clean vocals, and won't be terrible on a screamer. You might just have to work with it a little.
