Replicah,

At the moment I am also shopping for a reverb. From what I have read and guthered TC M1 XL seems to be a better choice than MPX550. Although I cannot confirm it personally right now, I will be auditioning both of them soon.

Also, Rev E makes an excellent, very often overlooked point--get good quality cables. It is surprising what kind of sonic difference they can make.
 
i will keep that in mind..

i was shocked when i first went into buy a few 1/4" long quality cables.. so i can only imagine how expensive balanced cables are if good quality..

i really like the lexicon reverb, thats why i want the 550..

but let me know how you go.
