Which matched pair for around $300

Hi
I use an MBox quite a bit for making demos, etc. and I want to buy a pair of mics that I can use for recording some livingroom hootenannys--acoustic guitars mostly-- as well as some recording that I will do alone. What is a good multipurpose pair of mics for this. I have been looking at Studio Projects C4 or Marshall MXL603. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

c4, mc012, mxl603........pick one pair and star recording and please don't hesitate too long

Basically, for a little more, the c4's have both omni and cadioid caps. Aside from that there's not much difference. So if you want the flexibility of switching to omni get the c4's, if not, then save some money and get the 603s.
