Which is better for acoustic recording : KMS27 or SM81

I went to guitar center yesterday, prepared to buy the SM81 ($60 more than the KMS27)... but the dude there highly recommended the KMS27 for acoustic recording as he had experience with it. So I went with the KMS27, but I figure I SHOULD get other opinions with experience, because I don't want something that is inferior to what I *could* have purchased.

If you want to record instruments then the SM81 will give you better transient respose than the KSM27, because it is a large diaphragm condenser. Small diaphragm condensers (SM81) are much better for recording acoustic sources. You could still record acoustic instruments with the KSM27, but you may run into trouble if you want to record, say winds. The SM81 will most likely give you better results.
