Which input to use...

... Just ordered a masterlink. Yoohoooo! I wanted to know what input you all favor; the anologue or the digital. I'm running mixes out of my Akai dps24 at 24/44. I can input to the ML by either the digi optical/coax or anologue. Although I always thought you should go with the digi inputs for the best sound, but I hear great results when going in anologue to different pieces. What's your prefrence? Thanks.

Well, I found a thread three down that gives me my answers. Thanks anyway..
 
I mix to a Masterlink a lot from a digital console. When it is a "quicky" mix thing, I just use the AES/EBU, but when I want it to sound better, I use the consoles analog outputs to a Drawmer 1960 tube compressor with no compression (I just want what the tube does to the sound) and run into the Masterlink at 24/96. The sound is more detailed and just sound more interesting.
