I've good offers for a Digitech DSP256 and Alesis Midiverb in good condition.

I don't know which to take. I just need a usable effects unit mostly for vocal reverb. Anyone can help me decide which one to go for ? My criteria is mostly on the quality of reverb. Thanks in advance.

Higher bit conversion rates sound better. I am not exactly sure, but the one with the higher is probably more natural. Also, try them if you can. One might just sound better for you. Trust your ear before numbers.

If you are looking for a grat quality reverb
I would suggest you buying the Lexicon MPX100
I changed my Zoom stuff for this one and is another planet!
The reverbs are suberb in all the types.
(it has so much types..) for 200 US$ i think is the best you can ask for

I own and use them all... my recommendations (in order of preference) are as follows:

Lex (cleanest and best all around... also, usually most expensive!)

Alesis (way better sound than the Digitech, not as much depth as the Lex)

Digitech (a good, inexpensive device more suited for live playing than recording... it's a bit too noisy for my recording needs)

Good luck...

Cordially,
the guitar half of "RockNGunz"
