which card? CardDeluxe?

I am going to start recording with my computer. I have a D8 (digital 8 track recorder) also. I will be recording directly to my computer a lot and other times linking my D8 (with already recorded tracks) to my computer to record additional tracks & to mix them together.

I heard CardDeluxe is a card that would give me everything I need. Any other brand/type suggestions?

I am looking for information about what I need & personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
