I'm trying to buy a Audio interface/ Sound card for about a year now.... under $200
basicaly for recording Vocal, Guitar and Keyboard.

curently I have outputs from my Behringer 1832FX Mixer going right into computer's 1/8" input

So my basic procedure is: 1) Mixdown the song from keyboard
2) record some guitar tracks
3) record vocals
But Sometimes with the band I need to record Keyboard, Guitar and vocal at the same time....

recording thru the computer's motherboard inputs is not very setisfying, thats why i'm planning to buy a Sound Interface or sound card (i dont even know the difference)

basicaly what i have in mind are:
1) M-Audio Delta-44 (4 inputs, 4 outputs which is great for making monitor mixes)
2) E-Mu 1212M (even more ins/outs)
3) Line 6 Tone port UX2(because it has lots of mic/guitar modeling, effects and stuff)

when i think that i need M-Audio delta, i begin to worry that it doesn't have effects and mic modeling...

when i think that i need Line 6 Tone port, i begin to worry about how i will record a keybord thru it....
but should i worry about monitor mixes if I have a mixer? or do i need 2 audio interfaces?
how good are tone port's effects and modeling? or is it better(and not too much more expensive) to have effects plug-ins and modeling plug-ins?
