What are you using it for? That will determine what thickness you need, what density is best, and whether or not it should be faced. $1.31 SF for 1" 703 FRK is kind of high. Besides, normally when you're using FRK, it's for bass absorbtion only and then you'll need more like 4" thick so you'd need to add some 2" unfaced to it.

When I built my studio I found the pink stuff hard to come by and I have a brother-in-law that works for a large building supply company. I ended up using Knauf that I purchased from a company called General Isulation which is a national company with locations though out the country. They didn't stock it locally but I was able to have them ship what I needed to the closest branch for pick up. I found the only hard part was explaining to them what it was I needed. What it comes down to is size,thickness, density and unfaced. Trying to explain what I was going to use it for only seemed to confuse them.
