Fellow Europeans! Please share your information about online music stores that ship all around EU (or Finland at least). I´m particularly interested in places that sell Studio Projects, Oktava, FMR and like. It´s frustrating to read about all this stuff when its nowhere to be found on this side of the pond!

Low prices are bonus, but good selection and reliable service are more important to me. Personally I´ve had good experiences with http://www.musicstorekoeln.de and http://www.thomann.de/index.html?partner_id=97926 , but even they don´t carry everything...

I would also be interested in good music shops in Sweden (pref. Stockholm), since I visit my friends there every now and then.

Why don't you come to London for a long weekend? There's every piece of equipment you could imagine here, my girlfriend will get you good rates at a hotel she does the marketing for, you can come and jam in our home setup and the live music scene is amazing. Don't know what it costs to get here but you'd probably end up saving money overall.

And the booze is here costs a fraction of what you pay:)

pm me if you like.

Garry

I don't know if theyr're any good for you. But the Swedish one's I keep an eye on (there's more) are:

http://www.musikborsen.se
http://www.musikcentralen.se/index.html
http://www.musiklagret.se
http://www.feedbackmusic.se
http://www.jam.se

And for more computer oriented:

http://www.swedenmidimusic.com
http://www.midimusic.se

I'm not close to S-holm so I won't pretend knowing their stores. Jam and musikborsen is there though, and

http://www.musikpunkten.se
http://www.instrument-online.nu/estrad/
http://www.forstarkardoktorn.com

might be worth a visit.

A few more tips:

If you're coming over 15-18 this month, this is happening:

http://www.stockholmsmassan.se/llb/

And if you ask here:

You might get better answers about Stockholm.

Extremely tempting, I must say! I´m pretty much all booked up next 4 months or so (workin´, giggin´, recordin´, practisin´and boozin´) but maybe next spring is a possibility. Just few weeks ago I was actually talking with my friends how cheaply you can fly to London nowadays, thanks to all those new airline companies (Ryanair etc.).

You may regret that promise yet...;)

Cheapest place I've found so far for SP mics is http://www.sub.co.uk/.
Prices comparable with US prices and reasonable shipping costs.

I Stockholm Jam is a good store, and have a good site. Estrad has a crappy site but is an excellent store, but that won't help you if you don't live in Stockholm.

I'd like some recommendations for Paris, if anyone has any! :)
