I've been jamming with a few friends for a while and we really want to get into recording. I know a little bit about mixing from the few times ive been in a studio. But I want to start recording on my PC and I dont know that much about equipment and the way everything is hooked up. What books have any of you read that goes into detail on how to "set up" a recording studio? Some of the books I've read just talk about recording technics instead of the initial set up of the recording studio itself. Also some websites would be helpful.
