I found out today there is this thing called sound...something to do with vibrations in the air or something....I hafta say I'm intriqued...What can I do with this?

Is there some way to save these "sounds", so that they could be used later....Maybe create new sounds that could be aranged in a pleaseing manner.

Anyway, help me out here, what do I need to buy? I have 25 bucks and a cheese sandwich, will that get me everything I need?

Thanks in advance.

I say eat the cheese sandwich, take your 25 bucks and buy an 8-track system. Thus bonding with the marvels of the 1900's in which maybe, just maybe we can all coexist as one conciousness and listen to the silky smooth sounds of the "bdgr".

Sound

I strongly disagree.... buy the 8 track then record the sound of you eating the cheese sandwich.

Thinking about it... much of the music I hear could be roughly described as the above.

Regards Alan

You're being steered in the wrong direction. You only need 4 tracks.

After all, 4 tracks was good enough for the Beatles.

With a budget of 25 dollars, you can get not only a top of the line 4 track cassette recorder, but all the outboard gear you will ever need, such as Radio Shack mics, Behringer or Nady mixers, Alesis compressors, etc.

What kind of cheese is on your sandwich?

Its kinda yellow...I trimmed the green fuzzy bits off of it.

I think I saw a store that said radio shack on the front of it, so I will print out this thread and take it to them, along with my 25 bucks.

Should I get someone to watch my sandwich while I go? Or should I take it with me?...Do they allow sandwiches in radio shack?

Also, should I go to the bathroom first? Its really starting to hurt, but I didnt want to go without asking you guys...I want to do this right...

Thanks for all the great advice.

Don't shit before going to Radio Shack. Ask to use their bathroom, drop off the kids, and really stink the place up.

But you're gonna need more than $25 to buy stuff with TUBES. Everybody knows that you can't make good sounds without TUBES.

Oh SHIT!!!

I forgot about the TUBES part!!

Can you, like, stretch your budget up to $30? If so, you got it made.

Oh man...5 bucks more...

I guess I can cash in the savingsbond my grandmother gave me.
