where can I get midi drumbeats

Anyine know where I can get some good free midi beat files to supplement session drummer in cakewalk 9.

Specifically Rock, Dance and African would be good.

You know, some time ago I found a bunch offered somewhere for free online... but I can't for the life of me remember where.

Download MIDI songs you like and then delete the other instrument parts. Then you can chop up the drum tracks all you want....

does anybody know if the midi files (used by session drummer) that come with cakewalk are programmed or played ?? just wondering ??

Not sure... I do have several that someone converted into the Session Drummer format which I understand were played on MIDI drum pads by real players. The information on how to make these files is in the Session Drummer documentation inside the manual and in Scott Garrigus' books.
