where can I find users manual for Tascam 424?

If anyone can point me to a PDF or something it would be greatly appreciated.
 
That's the MK II

Thanks a million for the response my friend, but that is the manual for the MK II Unit. I was looking for the manual to the original Tascam 424, not the MK II or MK III.

ah...my bad. I didn't know anyone owned the original 424. I assume it works pretty much the same as the mkii, so maybe that manual will help ya somewhat, depending on what you are looking for.
 
All those 464/414/424 are pretty much the same. A manual for any model should be good enough.

What do you want to know?
 
I wanted the exact manual to go along with my TASCAM so it would be very specific. If they are similar enough though, I will give one of the other manuals a go. Thanks for the info.
 
You may either want to call Tascam Parts for an official copy,...

or keep scanning Ebay for a bootleg,... of which I've seen many. :eek: ;)
 
Me and Dave (Reel) can talk you through the basic operating principles if you want to just get started.
 
I appreicate that. I'm gonna check out the PDF for one of the other models when I get outta here (work) and if I can't cross simulate then yeah, that'd be cool. Thanks again for being helpfull.
