Where are the vf160 users?

Is there a major difference between the vf16 and the vf160?

I seem to see a lot of vf16 users on forums like this but not many vf160?

Also, where can I download the latest version of the vf160 software? The OFFICIAL site please.
 
Well..you need to goto vf16.com to get the update for the 160 because fostex and their tech support sucks unless your japanese...
 
I recieved my VF-160 CDR about two months ago. If you got one recently it should already have the latest Software. Mine does.

I believe one of the biggest diffs in the 16 and 160 is that the 16 originally came with a 5 Gig Hard Drive and the 160 comes with a 20 Gig. The CDR was optional on the 16 whereas the CDR is supposed to be standard on the 160. I qualify that by saying that alot of dealers sell the 160 without the CDR.

The VF160 is simply a VF16 with option for built-in CD-RW and squarish looks. If I was buying a VF160 I'd get it without the CDRW and spend the money saved on a souncard with Adat interface for my computer.
