Tha' So & So ,So & So
...on a dual hard drive system should it be installed on the audio HD being that its a stream from disk program?

I hope that doesn't souund like too silly of a question. The reason I asked is b/c a review in E M mag stated "for the best results, you'll need to dedicate a hard drive to Halion streaming"

I guess I should pose the same question of all VSTi's should they be on the audio drive opposed to the system drive?

"for the best results, you'll need to dedicate a hard drive to Halion streaming"

Is the best solution But if you have only 2 drives I would put the halion samples on the system not the audio streaming drve.

Thanks Hippo , I only have two drives. does the same go for all VSTi's or just those similar to Halion?

Shouldn't the Halion samples be on the audio streaming drive?

I thought the idea was to keep samples away from programs for better streaming performance.

I'm confused now :(

Wait... I never heard that before...

I put all my samples in the Halion folder, which is under the VST Instruments folder, which is in the Steinberg folder, which is on disk C: (programs), my drive D: is for audio.

You might be on to something; I think?
