I could see this if your using a chorus/delay of some sort. Even some picking styles might make it sound like more than one instrument.

just a guitar and amp, may be overplaying, but it feels right. Now that I think of it, people around me aren't to music savvy. I would like to think that it my magic fingers.

heh. yea, i've actually heard that before or "hey man. you sound just like the record". ugh. and there i sit knowing good and well that it's bullshit. yea, these comments came from people that weren't too music savvy.
