yah i know waht you mean. To me Toxicity and Ariels are catchy as hell too.

i bet thier new album is gonna be big among the metal/ rock crowd. Im def gonna get it. I wanna see some more indian/ middle eastern or wahtefer influnce though. I think its cool to see such different styles combined. Keeps the genre fresh.

fav radio-hook?

i'd say/sing:

touching you-hooooooooo-hooooooooooooo
touching me-heeeeeeeeee-heeeeeeeee

touching you, cause you're touching meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

"I believe in a thing called love" by the darkness.

f*ck what i said
it dont mean sh*t now
f*ck the presents might as well through them out
f*ck all them kisses
they didn't mean jack
f*ck you, you ho
i dont want you back

Eamon

You posted those lyrics up in the "favorite lyric" thread as well... any idea who it is, or what the song is? Also, what genre is it? (my guess is either rap or metal)

Ya, I really like that clocks song too. It was nice to here Jane's Addiction on the radio. That's a great guitar track.

heh, it's just one riff, but damn if i can't get it out of my head....3 Days' Grace "I Hate Everything About You"....that opening guitar lick drives me crazy...must.......learn.........riff.......

Doubt if it is in rotation anywhere, but "Am I Missing?" by Dashboard Confessional has been in my head for weeks now. Actually the whole CD is hooky.

Before that, it was "Rabbit Hole" by Year of the Rabbit.

CyanJaguar, I agree with you. Huge hooks in that song. I like it better than "Bring Me to Life", which also is pretty damn good. Their lyrics leave a lot to be desired though , IMO.

PaulKarate, VR is awesome. Good stuff. Has held it's spot in my car CD changer for 4 months now :)

erichenryus, I have a similar feeling about Cristina A.'s "Beautiful". When I first heard it, I though it was someone else; when I found out it was her, I was impressed. I think it is a great example of artistic and commercial aesthetics combining seamlessly. And the production is nice also. I like the range of the mix and the clarity of the details so much that it's one of the tracks I now use when I am doing A \ B listening tests.

Also, she is kinda hot.

RES

I agree with the people that say that 85% of radio airplay is bull...

But one song I couldn't get out of my head was Res - They say vision. Man thAT hook is stickin!
