what's wrong with this mix

Well, it sounds trashy...Oscar would be proud. But you might want to think about a bit of seperation, everything sounds cluttered right in the middle of the field, like mono. Even though it's not mono, it has that effect to it.
 
i did what you suggested and also made the mix a tad less bass heavy.
sounds better.
 
I agree....you'll be hard pushed to get it to sound any more trashy than it already does.
 
c'mon guys help me out! i have the feeling some minor changes can make a drastic improvement.
