whats this effect

I hear a harmony... Sounds like the harmony is heavily "corrected" but otherwise (and it could just be because it's a rather crappy version of the recording) sounds pretty dry. I don't hear a specific verb or delay effect at all.

i think the "effect" you hear is the extreme breathyness of his voice... which they might of Eq'd to get a breathier sound.

there may be a really small amount of chorus on there too.. but the waver may just be the harmonics goin on.

after listening again... i think there is an effect on the harmony... and my guess would be chorus on the backing vocal. but in mixes sometimes you can think effects are on one thing when they are actually on another.... kinda like how sometimes in a bass melody within the mix... sometimes it can sound an octave difference on a specific note.

hearing individual things PERFECTLY the way they are within a mix can be tough.

Sounds like a real tight harmony...nothing more.

Probably made that way in a DAW...as the phrasing is perfect between the two vocals.

There is a very heavy compression on the voice which brings out the breath noise quite a bit. Other then that there is a harmony track mixed in rather low.

But I don't hear reverb or delay. It's possible that the heavy compression itself is bringing up the natural acoustics of the recording space somewhat.

Could be he just doubles his vocals and uses a chest based voice with a head voice.
