Used to manage a music store years ago that bought these Korean made guitars and branded them with the "house brand" - Polaris. They were soooo bad. Microphonic feedback galore, terrible tone. Absolute, total crap.

Do not tell me you are the guy who sold me a bright yellow Polaris Explorer back in 1984-1985 era at that music store just off Rainier Ave in Renton! I can't remember which strip mall that was....Even though, that Polaris sounded way better than the Fender Acoustic/Electric I now own! Nasally hunk of crap! IF I could only afford to get something new.

Parker Night Fly...I just couldn't make this guit work for me..Sounded like crap no matter what amp I tried..So I traded it for a Am Strat... thru some EMG's in it now I'm a happy camper..

I had a Kramer Focus that sopunded like shit, until I replaced the pickups with some dimarzios.....

Bought a guitar from the local pawnshop for US$40 - Sounded sooooo bad! Korean "Vester" neck, Korean ??? strat-style body, broken pickguard. 2 humbuckers, and frets that were more like tiny slips of metal between the dents!

Why did I buy it??? There were 2 dimarzio humbuckers on it - swapped out my Ibanez's pickups, improved the sound of the Ibanez, and made it sound even worse!!! Currently it's fretless, and I'm trying to figure out how to make a buzzing bridge for a bit of electric sitar action!!:D

Worst guitar I ever heard was a well-played 1959 Fender Stratocaster with a Candy Apple Red finish through a 1959 Bassman.

It sounded like shit when compared to my friend's Made in Korea Strat through a Crate 60 watt transistor amp, which only cost him $200.

A Memphis Explorer copy. $99, and worth half that. The pickups were definitely not designed properly, and it sounded like absolute butt. It's a wonder I learned to play anything at all when I was starting out.
you can direct yer complaints to strings and things in memphis.

is best to keep the truth to yourself.

I had this El Degas once...oh wait, I still have it hahahahahaha.

I think a Velveeta Cheese box with rubber bands stretched across it sounds much better.

Hey Shepp - go back to the dictionary and look up 'irony' again.
