Ok so I know T.bone is a dodgy OEM brand and from my experience I got a shabby mic that I had to send back but it was not the T.bone SC800 i also got a stereo matched pair of mics SC180 which where ok.. I have heard amazing things about these mics and others don't want to know..
Who has experienced this mic good or bad?

can't really say too much about those, which one are u actually asking about now?? the sc800 or the sc180? and what are you planing on using it for?

Asking about SC 800.....
Mainly valve vocal sound, but should be good on acoustic instruments if its a nice one....

Reading the specs on this mic it seams no different than the MXL V69 which I own and I like. Sounds good on vocals, acoustic guitar and on amps.

You can match specs and response curves and still end up with 2 very different mics...
If you really want a valve mic...you need to save more to get something that is any good.
