What's the difference between these two mics, which is better for a studio atmosphere?

The NT1 is a large condenser mic... used mainly for vocals and sometimes for acoustic instruments.
The NT3 is a small condenser mic... used specifically for acoustic guitar, piano, and drum overheads (when you have a "matched pair").
