whats the difference between the 896 and the 896hd?

Hi,
So i know what are the differences between the 828 and the 828mk2, but not between the 896 and the 896hd.
All i know is that the hd version handles 192khz and the 896 does not.
But that is not a problem for me since i was looking at the 828mk2 wich only supports 96khz, and wich is far enough for me, at least for now!

So please bring up any other differences the 2 unit might have.
The non hd version goes pretty cheap on ebay, it would be quite advantageous to get the non hd version, if they are only different by their highest sampling rates.

Anyway, thanx for pointing out the other differences!

I need to know too. I think MOTU is cheating. If it's converter is the same as MOTU HD 192 it's mean you can have dynamic range at 120 dB but 828MKII is 109 dB [ I'm not sure ]. I looking for this answer long time. MOTU never lets us know. Shit! I post in this forum for this one question! GUYS! ONLY ONE QUESTION!

896HD use AK5385 coverter but HD192 use AK5394
A/D noise is diferent ( 10dB )
dynamic range
896HD is near 114dB HD192 is 120dB
