what's the difference between LX20 and XT20?

i have yamaha md 8 8-track minidisk recorder but i want to expand on my studio by adding some adat recorders. i don't know the difference in quality between the ADAT LX20 and XT20, except that the LX has a more affordable price which makes this model more attractive. does this difference in price mean a sacrifice of sound quality or reliability of the machine. please let me know what you can tell me about these. thanks for your help!

The transport on the XT20 is more robust, the converters are better, and there are more front-fascia features.

The XT20 also has balanced +4 AND unbalanced -10 I/O, where the LX20 only has unbalanced -10 using RCA connectors.

I wrote them some time ago to ask why, but they had no explanation. The XTs are new, so who cares...
