Yes, it's a U47 and you can find them at that price if you check the "Stolen" section of your local Craig's List.

I think I read the Newman U37 was harshy.. The Behinringer has a Ultra-Pro U37 that's only .50cents and it sounds better in my opinion.

Supposedly made in the Amazon, by pigmy junkies though... in case the outsourcing from China bothers you.

What you need is a length of good string connecting 2 empty Newman's Own Spaghetti sauce cans. That's as close as you will get to your proposed budget.
