I pucker my lips like a big baby. Never thougt I look any different until seeing myself playing on a video cam. I noticed the guy from Phish looks autistic when he gets into playing.

What's on your face?

When I'm really into it I kinda look like Godzilla when he's searching for more things to destroy.

I guess it's ok to look funy when you play then:)

The funniest one I have ever seen is this guy with a face that's like someone is about to punch him, standing with his feet touching each other, and shaking. Imagine an airplane tied to a rope, flying in a circular motion.

OK time to make fun of the old guy.

I was diggin through some old pictures...found this one that captures my facial expression. Pic quality sux, but you can almost make out the slack-jaw, tounge hangin out, retarded look on my face. BTW this pic is like 20 years old.

I make odd mouth movements with my tongue, sometimes sticking it out for no reason... like a retarded person in the dark trying to find the straw with his mouth to slurp his coke..

I found that chewing gum while playing helps alleviate my weird expressions and takes the focus of my face away from the audience.

That's a good tip for those who don't sing. Trying to sing with a wad o gum in your mouth can be a little tricky.

When I play tough stuff on the bass, my wife says that I look "concerned" my twin brother playes guitar in my band and she says that he gets the same look!
