What's my next step?

Hi I got a question for you, what should be my next move?

I have a firewire 1814 soundcard with 2 pre amps.
Pro tools m-powered
Shure sm 57 and 58 and also a Beta 52 mic

I have about 500-700 dollars to spend.
I really want the Shure ksm 32 mic or the M-audio Octane.

So people should I get a good mic which I can use for a lot of things or should i get more pre-amps, ore maybe something completely different.

Sounds like you've already got a couple of nice mics- i'd try those out for awhile before you jump into anything really expensive..

My first two expenditures would be:

1. Room treatment.
2. Decent monitors.
