It's a HR classic in my books. Definitely in my Top 3 songs I've heard on this site. Can't think of the other 2 are.

For me the other two are Radio, also by LPC and The Ledge, by Kafer. Dunno though... I'm also partial to Monkey Metal. :D

Haha.....well, it's just "Monkey". It's already gotten kind of tough living with Monkey after his big mp3 hit. ...Ego thing. If he sees your post he's likely to start insisting that I call him "The Monkey" or even "Monkey, (voice deepens and slows)primate......of.........destiny". I do think his lyrics are deep though... you can interpret them so many different ways.

One thing about Monkey, though. My old band opened for him back in '94, and he borrowed an XLR cable from us for his set. We never got it back. So Monkey, if you are reading this: Where the hell is my XLR cable? Chewed through, no doubt.

Does it look really old? Well I got over it a long time ago. But it looks like you got yourself a cable that was once used by the amazing moNKEy!!!! Hold on to it, and also, you may never want to wash your hands again. Ha

Can't wait till we finally have a complete and done CD. It's gettin there. . .3 or 4 songs more to go.
 
Awesome song--I'm simply amazed by the level of talent on this board because it doesn't sound like a home recording (or at least what I perceive a home recording to sound like). Not that this site should only have po-dunk artists like myself but... you know what I mean. ;)

I like the contrast at 1:08--sounds like the song's about to derail which gives it some edge. Nice cutaway at 2:00... Lots of layers and they sound right together instead of cluttered.
 
Incanus, Monkey asked me to post these pictures... don't know why, but he was insistent. And what's the deal with this cable...? Any other gear he doesn't care at all about but this particular cable he never lets out of his sight.
