bluetube (presonus put a better tube in it and fixed it up more than a regular bluetube, so it has a noticeably BETTER sound quality than most, although it IS still a bluetube!, ha!)

Would you put the overheads in the dmp2 or in the bluetube?

ide put over heads thrue bluetube. snare and bass thrue dmp. or the other way around, depends wut sound better

Overheads through the dmp2. Kick & Snare through the Blue tube.

The dmp2 probably doesn't have enough headroom to handle the kick and snare without major distortion / clipping -- unless you've got some attenuator pads.

I have a Blue Tube and find it unusable, for the most part. What mods did you make to yours?

exactly, that was my problem too.

i sent it back to presonus. They are using a new tube in general now (the model I had was mannufactured in late 2001), and I told them to put that in there.
so a - it's a new tube.

and b - there was a blown chip in mine, which made it so noisey. Of course, I didnt KNOW it was a blown chip until I sent it back and they told me. ha.

50 bucks benchmark rate though.
