Cyan? Anyone else?
Better than average? As good as monster studio?

I admit I love the B.L.U.E. Kiwi, but I'm not sure but what it's because it's a nice shade of bright Irish green and I want to believe it will make my mics sound better. Can I really hear a difference? Awww, I wish you wouldn't ask that!

How about this: if I feel more secure with a cable that cost $50 instead of $20, then paying $30 more for a sense of security is relatively cheap therapy.

Buy the Blueberry, if you want it, and then YOU can write an honest but almost useless response like mine! ;-) Hopefully, one of the make-them-yourself people will step in now to rescue this thread.

Best wishes,

Mark H.

I noticed they sound better if you use a green felt tip pen on the ends.

(cough)

Green??? No fuckin way. Blue, maybe....

the blueberry cable is better than average and at the same time worse than average.

It adds noticeable high end and also enhances clarity. THis can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the situation, but usually a good thing.

Noticable clarity cant be a bad thing, for sure. Is it a thick, heavy duty cable?

no thicker than my regular cable. The connectors are gold plated though. The blue and gold really goes well with the blue color of my blueberry.

The Cranberry is so subtle (flexible) that I worry It will kink. I picked it for it's color and the fact it is two conductor. Most of my cables are star quad and I wanted to have more variety of cable styles.

Musicians Friend sells the Kiwi cable for $29, as does Guitar Center (you have to tell them to price match, that's what I did).

I have both a Kiwi cable and a Monster 500,and the Kiwi beats the Monster IMO.It looks better too.
