what u hear recording with Echo Mia

Hi everybody ,Ciao a tutti!!!
Upgrading from SB Live to Mia I have to admit to have found another world!!!
A very long time dream come true!!!
But with SB Live I had the "what u hear" function that it seems missing with Mia .
I mean ,with SB Live I used to play an audio file from the Net with e.g. real audio ,
wetting it with the Creative , poor but funny , real time sfx, recording it on a track
into Sonar.
Now it seems as I would have only the line in input .
I wrote to Echo and they answered that Mia does'nt have that function.
It sounded strange to me because of the Mia's beauty :
i can't believe it/she(?) letted me down this way!!!
So the question is:
Is there a trick to power up the Mia adding that function?
Or alternatively (and in a more realistic way),there is a way to
use both cards on the same PC in the same Sonar instance?
It would be useful ,because in some cases i could tolerate to acquire "what u hear" stuff with SBlive trying to improve it in a second time with SF or else,kepping to use Mia for the massive and ordinary work.
I apologize for the very long mex. :-)

The mia can not play back midi at all,thats the only limitation i have found in the card.I have disabled my onboard s,card and have had no problems with mp3s 'cds 'software ,music from the net etc.

The sblaster can be used with the mia .from what i have heard.
 
I used to use a program called virtual audio cable to do internal routing of audio signals between audio programs. I'm not sure if it's still out there, but it worked like a charm.
 
...dunno much about the MIA, but I live happy happy joy joy all the way with both Delta-66 and SB Live! both in the same machine running SONAR. However, I needed to tweak some of setting things in Control Panel to avoid conflict. But it's done and running happy ever after... The point is, while you still got 'em both, why don't you give it a shoot yourself ? But make sure you backup the registry thingee first !!!
