I am in the process of buying a new computer i'm tossed between a dell and a mac mini holla at ya boy cuz the 533 celeron i am on now is limiting my ability BBBBAAAADDDD i have a gina soundcard so that makes me think pc but i got the line on a mac mini 1.42 gig processor and a gig of memory with 80 gig harddrive
 
What's your budget? I'm thinking if you have about $600 or more in hand, I'd go custom made.

I use a Dell that I've upgraded, but now i have so many extra pc components, I've decided to put the Dell back to factory specs. and use my upgrade components for a dedicated music pc.
 
I've built every computer i own with the exception of my laptop...

I will probably be building another one very soon one with a rack mountable case would be cool... :cool:
 
DO NOT get a mac mini. i got one from one of those offercentric sites... slowest thing ever. i couldnt listen to music while doing anything else or it would go crazy and skip.

i'd say build your own pc. i recently built one up for a little less than 800, with no monitor. it's nice.

I'm on a modded out Gateway. The laptop's a Dell. I'm in the process of building a new one because I can.

I'm getting the parts bit by bit because I want a little monster. After I get the PC built, I'm changing from 2 CRTs to 2 LCDs

what are you running on your mac mini i am getting it for 550 if i get it
 
i already got rid of it, but i wasn't running too many programs unless there were some i didn't know about, which i highly doubt.
