I'm not really sure why so many people here seem to dog the NT1. Maybe they got a bad one? (when I got mine, I took it back and exchanged it for a different NT1 because it wasn't nearly as good as my bro's NT1). It's my workhorse mic. You can listen to my recordings done with NT1 and the Art tube MP (which also gets dogged here, but I like it) at www.pinkhumpy.com - I haven't had anyone tell me the sound quality of my recordings isn't good enough...
