I tried to use Logic for 2 months. I did not like the way I had to master creating the environments before I could dive in and use it. I spent more time messing with the program than using it.
Then I tried Nuendo. Finally a DAW that works the way I work. I sold my MotorMix and got a Houston. Now I focus on recording music and not on building environments. Nuendo is very intuitive, the Nuendo user commuinty is very supportive (I am having a New England Nuendo User BBQ this spring), and the feature set is rich enough that I really do not have a "wish list" for it.
Yeah it was $1200, money well spent after buying N-Track, Cubase, and Logic. The VST link feature they announced at NAMM look very promising although I envisioned something very different when I first heard about it.
