What to do??????

I cant use the Layla 20bit system I bought (with out checking) with the computer setup I am currently running (AMD K6) and I now have 2 options.....

1) spend about 200 to upgrade my computer and keep the 20bit 8 in / 10 out system.

2) trade it (with amic I never use) for a new Delta 44. Costs nothing but is only 4 in / 4 out w no MIDI and no dedicated monitoring but IS 24bit.

I'm guessing the Layla 20bit card is discontinued and therefore not supported with updated drivers anymore.

I'd go with the Delta because it is 24bit and still supported by its manufacturer.

Yeah....thats kinda how I was leaning.

I still have my old card so I can monitor through that.

I use Cool Edit and thats supposed to be able to handle multiple soundcards.
I'll just have to get a midisport or something.
