I like the MXL 603. I use it for acoustic guitar and some other studio applications. They run about $100, no matter from where or in what configuration I buy them.

I have been getting the "Anniversary Pack." About $100 for a 603 and an MXL 2003, 2, 1 (which ever). That makes the 2003 free. Consequently, I have collected a bunch of 2003's.

For the life of me, I can't find a use for these. They are too heavy for xmas tree ornaments.:D:D:D

What to do with them????

get a soldering iron and start replacing capacitors and stuff and see what it does to the sound of the mics. That's what I did with my "extra" 990. I improved the sound, and later wound up messing it up pretty bad, but I learned a lot.

Well you can try selling them on e-bay or put an add in the "Free adds" section and sell them or maybe someone will offer to trade you something for them??

Just a thought?

:D
