What this site needs

I miss the search feature on the old Tascam bbs. It allowed you to search the archives for the answers to questions that have been asked a million times. The black dot was good too, for those threads you have posted on and are waiting for an answer.

Sorry. I never open to a full screen and the "Search" box is always cut off.

As far as I am concerned there is no search feature on this BBS. There is a three letter minimum. Whats up with that.

So if I need "Roland CD burner on PC" ...... I can only search "Roland burner"

Well that doesn't get me much......other than 500 pages.:eek:

Yeah, really .... That's the one thing that always pisses me off .. More than once did I search a model # of something that had 1 or 2 letters or digits and I couldn't do it. That's the main thing I'd change.

Derek accidentaly brought up a good point...

There really is a bad problem with the search function.
I can't look up anything with a number in it. I always get the word minimum message too.

I guess we can't really complain about a fre BBS though.

I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this but if you want to search for PC, you can type is PC* and get anything with PC as the first two letters. Also the same with model numbers. C1 can be searched as C1*.

Sure, you will get some weird finds, but it is better than nothing.:D
