What the Hell...

Really like the chord progression at "take my hand and I'll play" - nice layering of voices there too. For me musically the most engaging part of all the songs on the site. Sort of loses me a little in between those choruses though.
All are well recorded and seem commercially viable, but then WTF do I know. Really enjoyed "Play" though.

I listened to "play" Nice backing vox. The build around 2:00-2:05 or so could have been emphisized a bit more IMO. I liked the git sound but, was kinda hoping for a more produced tune. Drums and such. The lyrics were unresolved for me. Not convincing. Maybe a bridge to say WHY this jaded person should take the hand.
Just some simple thought from a simple mind. Nice tune, thanks for the listen.

Thank you both for the compliments. "Play" was left intentionally sparse. We thought about adding a bridge but opted to build up into the crescendo just prior to the last chorus instead. It closes the album. In all the reviews we got for the CD, this song was mentioned only once but twice here by you guys! Thanks again.

I listen to "get in, i'll drive",
I like the tune musicaly. Like theron said it lacks certaint polish of sound that I think is expected in this style.

I didn't like the accoustic guitar sound in the begining but thats my taste. I think I know what type of sound you were going for though, that mid-rangey-bronzy modern sound and I like that effect. I just don't think you nailed it yet. IMHO (for the record I have not nailed it yet :)) .... on another listen maybe you did.

I liked a lot the bass sound and playing, very cool.

And overall mix level wise is pretty good, the way the song builds up for the chorus with another guitar tracks coming in is very good.
