have i been tricked this whole time? Are monitors on the net priced by single speaker? so like the MSP5s are $220, but does that mean they are $440 for a pair? what is this carp! dont they understand this is confusing!!!!!!!!

You have to look closely. They are priced differently. Some are priced by the pair and others are priced by the each. Typically, if they are priced by the pair by one vendor, that is how they will be priced other places.
