Timewarp is confusing the fuck out of me. I recently made some midi tracks at 140 bpm, and bounced them to audio. I created a new project, totally forgetting about tempo and went on working with automation and shit. Sounded all great. Then I looked at the metronome settings and saw the metronome was set to 120 bpm. Whoops I thought - this is meant to be at 140... so I went to change it, and well - it wouldn't change :) Kept setting itself to 120.

SO I need to know - when I come to record on top of these synths, exactly what tempo will my metronome be set to? Are the midi tracks now stuck at 120? Or are they still at 140 but my metronome is at 120?

Thanks in advance,

There are 2 methods of tempo.
Fixed and then Track (I think)
Try cicking the bit that says tempo on the transport bar, and see if that helps you be able to change the tempo.

Ah-hah, if I set it to fixed, it makes the waveforms shorter. I can also change the tempo speed. Thanks very much :)
