How does this fit in the Sonic Foundry forum? Are you looking for opinions on SF products specifically?
If you mean "in general" the answer to your question is.....whatever works for you and your needs. You'd probably want to try out a variety of programs to really determine what will really get your workflow - well, flowing. Everyone will probably have their own opinions on what is "best", and that won't really get you anywhere. Does this make sense? Gotta consider budget too - you could spend a few bucks to well over $1000.
